Clearcoat 2K HS 2:1
MAX Clear Classic 2K HS 2:1 is a 2K HS-class clear coat designed to achieve a durable, highly transparent final finish with an excellent appearance. It provides high gloss, good flow, and scratch resistance, making it easy to obtain a smooth surface and consistent results in everyday refinishing work. The clear coat performs especially well on curved shapes and body lines, and thanks to its high clarity, it does not cause any noticeable change in the basecoat color. The product is suitable for coating both small and large parts.

Application
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Ensure basecoat surface is clean using antistatic cloth before applying clearcoat for a flawless finish

SPRAY GUN SETTINGS
Nozzle size: 1.2-1.4 mm; Operating pressure: HVLP/RP 1.8-2.0 bar
APPLICATION
2-3 full coats
EVAPORATION TIME AFTER APPLICATION
5-10 min after coating at 20°C and 65% relative humidity
DRYING
Drying times at 20°C and 65% relative humidity:
- dust dryness: 15 min
- non-tacking: 40 min
- for assembly: 5 hrs
- thoroughly: 12 hrs
Drying times at 60°C and 65% relative humidity:
- for assembly: 30 min
IR DRYING
~30 min
