Clearcoat 2K VHS 4:1

CP 2016 is a clearcoat based on high-quality HS resin, characterised by a very high dry matter content (High Solid), making it a product that meets strict EU standards. Just one and a half coats of varnish provide full coverage of the surface, creating a coating with excellent clarity, incredible depth and definition. CP 2016 is scratch-resistant and resistant to harsh weather conditions, ensuring a long-lasting durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Available in 1L packs, it is ideal for precision and smaller paint jobs, providing excellent results and performance in all conditions.

Ensure basecoat surface is clean
using antistatic cloth before
applying clearcoat for a flawless
finish

4:1
100 parts of CP 2016 + 25 parts of
CP 3016, (CP 3216), optionally add
5-10% of thinner CP 040/ CP 070/
CP 055/ CP 075

SPRAY GUN SETTINGS

Nozzle size: 1.2-1.4 mm;
Operating pressure: HVLP/RP 1.8-2.0 bar

APPLICATION

1.5-2 coats

EVAPORATION TIME AFTER APPLICATION

At 20°C and 65% relative humidity 5-10 min
(CP 3016), 3-5 min after coating

DRYING

Drying times at 20°C and
65% relative humidity:
- dust dryness: 15 min
- non-tacking: 25 min
- thoroughly: 1 hrs
Drying times at 40°C and
65% relative humidity:
- for assembly: 15 min
Drying times at 60°C and
65% relative humidity:
- for assembly: 5 min
