Acrylic primer SWIFT 2K HS 4:1
CP 375 SWIFT acrylic primer in grey is the ideal solution for quick work on small to medium-sized surfaces. It can be applied to a wide variety of substrates such as old paint finishes, epoxy and reactive primers, steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and GRP. Its great advantage is its very short drying time - 5 minutes at 60°C and 1 hour at 20°C. In addition, CP 375 is characterised by excellent flowability, anti-corrosive and sealing properties and the possibility of wet-on-wet sanding of inclusions. The primer is available in a 3.5 litre container.

Application
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Abrade the substrate, using appropriate grade of abrasive. Once abrade, clean the substrate with silicone remover CP 015. After the substrate is clean and dry, apply the required coats of CP 375 taking note of evaporation time between layers
MIXING RATIO
4:1 100 parts of CP 375 25 parts of hardener CP 282/ CP 285/ CP 286 10 % of thinner CP 040/ CP 070/ CP 055/ CP 075 As part of wet-on-wet method 30-40 % of thinner CP 040/ CP 070/ CP 055/ CP 075
SPRAY GUN SETTINGS
Nozzle size: 1.6-1.8 mm; Operating pressure: 1.8-2.0 bar Wet-on-wet method: nozzle 1.2-1.4 mm, Operating pressure: HVLP/RP 1.8-2.0 bar
APPLICATION
2 full coats
EVAPORATION TIME AFTER APPLICATION
5 min after application of 1st and 2nd coat at 20°C and 65% relative humidity. Evaporation continues until a matt surface is visible
DRYING
Drying times at 20°C and 65% relative humidity: - dust dryness: 5 min (2 coats) - before sanding: 1 hrs Drying times at 60°C and 65% relative humidity: - before sanding 5 min
