Fade out binder
The resin, a one-component formulation tailored for vehicle bodywork, serves a specific
purpose: to harmonize colour disparities between the Kar-Bon/Green-Line basecoat
used and the existing basecoat on adjacent areas during local touch-ups.
After the application of the CP 999 resin coat, a layer of shaded Kar-Bon/Green-Line
basecoat is applied wet-on-wet. The unique properties of CP 999 ensure a seamless
transition without any visible "clouding" at the border, rendering the shade difference
invisible.

Application
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Degrease the surface, matt the old coatings with a grey or golden fleece, preferably, with a matt polish
MIXING RATIO
100 parts of CP 999 100 parts of thinner CP 048/ CP 078/ CP 055
SPRAY GUN SETTINGS
Nozzle size: 1.2-1.4 mm; Operating pressure: HVLP/RP 1.8-2.0 bar
APPLICATION
1-2 coats on the surface before shading with basecoat. Apply the basecoat immediately after the resin application in order to prevent the resin coat from drying out
